I think we have been successful in our original plan of action: not eating chocolates (Hershey’s candy bars, Kit Kats, M&Ms) between meals, after dinner, late at night, etc. Since mid-October, I have not touched those between meals. They sit in the living room and I haven’t had any urges to eat them, nor do I have any urges to purchase any when I go to the store. I think I may have had a miniature Hershey’s chocolate after dinner over the holidays sometime, as part of my after dinner dessert.  So, on that count, I consider our original objective to be a success.
